It’s been ages since I updated here, oops! Too much fun doing yoga to get round to writing anything.
Updates - lovely time teaching again at YogaCamp, thanks to Janee and the crew for inviting me back. Such a lovely space created there, so fab classes and workshops too.
There was a bunch of us helping The Brighton Yoga Foundation (BYF) with the kids area at the yoga festival, that was a fun packed weekend bringing yoga to families and little ones. The BYF are committed to bringing yoga into schools, so I’ve been supported by them to offer tasters in some schools this year as part of the ‘Take Part’ week. As ever, if you’d like yoga in your school, do get in touch so we can discuss what’s possible. It may be as part of an inset day to give the teachers some tips in yoga and mindfulness in the classroom, to help with tiredness, anxiety, lack of focus or scattered energies. Or maybe an after school club, or yoga as part of the curriculum, perhaps as a six week block for each year group to be equipped with some tools for life.
Tween/teen classes continue and are such fun, I love that some of these girls have been coming to yoga for years, they are really committed.
Drop me a line if you’re interested in yoga for young people, I’d love to chat x
