Yoga , meditation and mindfulness for teen aged girls

Wow, what a great start!! 

The class in Hanover is going really well, a lovely group of girls regularly attending with lots of good feedback. Following the success of this a lovely lady has asked me to set up a class in Hollingdean. So I met with her and some of the girls in that area yesterday to offer a trial session.....and so another class is born!

Starting next Monday 9th Feb to gather interested girls, then restarting after half term, the class will be in St Richard's Church hall in Hollingdean. We will meet on Mondays 5.45-6.45 pm at a cost of £7 per class. After a trial class the classes are block booked in order to promote regular attendance, which reaps best results! Girls will need to have their own mats, hopefully to encourage a bit of home practice too.

Sessions include yoga poses, solo and some partner or teamwork to increase connection and have fun, meditation and mindfulness. This blend ensures that the girls stay flexible and strong, developing a healthy relationship with their bodies. Classes will support development of calm, a positive attitude, connecting with their own coping styles, learning new strategies and celebrating their uniqueness.

I have been doing group work for a long time now, supporting each individual to be the best version of themselves, so I bring this ethos to the classes with the teens...oh and we have a bit of fun too!
